OK, so if you're looking for luxury, leisurely service and a wonderful ambience, then this is certainly not for you! But, if you're looking for efficient service, wonderful food, and excellent portions at an unbelievably great price, then this is the place for you. This place is legendary, you will probably have to wait to be seated, but if you're here for the food and nothing else, then this will be one of your favorite places to visit again and again and again.

Finally chili paste is back. my family and I are are so happy that it is back. it makes it more spicy and worth it besides chili paste being back, this is the best pho and all of the pho so 1 chain. spacious, clean and extremely friendly and hardworking staff members. there has been a definite change to this place because the new team members are amazing compared to the old team. we were here once at night before they were closing and the staff members cleaned everything. when i say everything, I mean it. the chairs, the tables, the edges, the napkin, the thing that holds their spoon, their menus, etc. I do not think I ever seen any other Asian restaurants doing that haha But I want to especially talk about the girl with pink hair. she has been the only person who has been consistently friendly and welcoming whenever my family and I visit (even on the phone for Togo she is so lovely to talk to). not only does she greet us but she greets our kids like as if they were her own which is why my kids love coming here for her since she acknowledges them. we never caught her name but she always remember us and what we need. whether she is the owner or manager or a regular staff member, we really come here just for her. so wherever she goes, we will be following because she makes the food taste so much better for her service. I would recommend this place to everyone. Thank you pink hair girl for everything

One of my go-to places for Vietnamese. The pho comes out fairly quickly after you order. It's authentic (I'm Vietnamese). The wait staff is friendly. One nitpick is I'm not a fan of some of the political programming they put on the various TV screens they have all over the restaurant, but they don't do this all the time.

Stopped by my local hands down favorite pho spot in the valley, I used to go to the one in van Nuys right next to the 99 ranch. It's been hot, but I have been craving some pho. Today I got the pho with the rare steak only with a side of fried egg rolls. I love how the people are so friendly, it's some of the original people that worked at the one in Van Nuys and they're always so kind to their customers. The food has amazing consistency and the food always comes out quick. I love the new restaurant and the vibe of it because it can accommodate so many people and there's TVs in there too to watch some of the sports games that are on. Overall, you should definitely consider this place if not the one in Van Nuys. BEST PHO IN THE VALLEY

9/17/2024: Another awesome review for my favorite Vietnamese "joint"! This one to boast the generous portion sizes and how amazing their food is, even as leftovers the next day. Last night we had our usual platter of Cha Gio (fried egg rolls). Hubby loves them so much, he ordered another as his dinner! I had the Bun Heo Núông (cold vermicelli noodles, salad, pickled veggies and grilled pork). Delicious as always, and I had enough leftover for lunch today! I just added a little Spring Mix salad and a sliced Persian cucumber to freshen it up. Just as yummy as last night! Tram took excellent care of us, as always. She's so bright, personable.. she makes everyone feel at home when they walk in! The guys were all so great, getting our food out to us, making sure our glasses were filled.. and they keep the restaurant so clean! It's decorated for Halloween and is feeing festive. We drive 50 miles to come to Pho So 1. Their other SFV locations are also good, but Tram and team make this location extra special! *special note, their nuoc cham dipping sauce is so good with the egg rolls, excellent as a dressing on the vermicelli bowls.. and frankly it's drinkable! I'd order shots, it's so good!

Pho So 1 has been my go to spot for Pho. It was first introduced to me in 2019 (at the Reseda location) and it has been one of my comfort foods since. As soon as we go in, we are seated right away and water is served meanwhile we browse the menu. The food is also served very quickly. It has a very nice, comfortable feel to the restaurant, makes it feel like home. Recommendations: I love to add everything to my Pho (except jalapeños ) but the basil, bean sprouts, sriracha sauce, and hoisin sauce give the broth such a good flavor. Their iced coffee will WAKE YOU UP. It's so good! Spring rolls are very good as well as the egg rolls. Most recently, I tried their donut and it was very good as well. Can't wait to go back again.

The original and first pho place in the Valley! Hits the spot. Pho Dac Biet - The Special with side of raw meat.

It's nice to have Pho So 1 in Granada Hills, I used to go to the one in Simi Valley or Van Nuys. The restaurant is located in a huge strip mall with plenty of parking. Interior is pretty big and clean. The fried eggrolls and pho noodle soup came really quick. We ordered 2 bowls of #1 house special pho and they gave very little bean sprouts. There were 5 eggrolls per order, it came with lettuce wrap, carrots, Daikon, cucumber and fish sauce. The eggrolls were really good. I would definitely order these again. On the other hand, the beef pho was disappointing. The broth was very bland but I like how the soup is not oily. The noodles were so fragile that it breaks everytime I pick up the noodles. It's a diff type of noodles they use, I'm not a fan of this noodle texture.

Seriously the fastest I have ever received my food after ordering. It was so fast that none of my kids were able to complain about being hungry lol Everyone that was working was really nice and checked on us. The restaurant was big with a lot of tables and very clean. Everything we ordered was really good and decent portions. We ordered the number 1 pho and the broth was really good and everything else tasted good. Also got #74 which was the pork chops with fried egg. Full of flavor and delicious. And we tried the fried egg rolls. It was different than what we usually get but it was really good.

The beef pho is alright, but the tofu summer rolls are unexpectedly amazing. They come with three rolls per order, which is rare. The fish sauce is delicious, too. It's spacious and clean and the service is fast and friendly. Lots of free parking in the shared lot and relatively clean restroom.
